On Solutio, Ideas are like folders that hold everything related to a project. It is inside Iddeas that users can discuss and share feature requests and crowdfund resources.

IDEAS SHOULD BE BROAD

Ideas should be broad problem-statements.

Many users might share a similar pain, but might have different opinions on how to solve it.
That is why we separate the Ideas from the feature-requests, so the solution can be discussed separately. This leads to positive discussions.

ANYONE CAN ADD FEATURES TO IDEAS

Inside ideas, users share feature-requests. The community can pledge $ to the most-wanted features, generating a prioritized list of demanded features.

Feature-requests can come in many forms:

  • A pain-point that should be addressed.

  • A new aproach to solve an issue.

  • UI/UX mockups and wireframes (designers can earn!).

  • Requests for compatibility or systems.

  • Integrations with other platforms.

SOLUTION CREATION & DELIVERY

Developers select projects worth building and base features on the most pledged ideas.

The Solutions-topics can be created in advance, to show that work has started, share development updates, and gather feedback from the community.

When the Solution is done & delivered, the Pledgers can test it. If they accept the Solution, their Pledges get transfered to the developer.

All supported by a robust reputation system to garantee honesty.

PREVIEW POTENTIAL EARNINGS

Since each idea is pledged individuallly, Solution Providers can see how much potential gains each feature and request will bring them.

This allows devs to optimize their work, focussing on the features that bring the greatest rewards!

THE DEVELOPER DECIDES

Developers are under no obligation to transfer the rights to the code. If not enough users pay for the Solution, the developer can pull back and hold on to the code until enough users accept the solution.

TRUST THROUGH REPUTATION

If a user pledges, but ends up not paying, his reputaiton is affected.

​

If a developer delivers bad products, his reputaiton is affected.

The users reputation is used to predict the expected payout of ideas.

This means that users with a bad score will have little to no pledging power, automatically excluding bots and bad-actors of the equation.

TRUST THROUGH DECENTRALIZATION

In traditional crowdfunding, all the users leave a single person in charge of their funds: either the platform, or the user. If the project fails, or the money ends in hands of a bad actor, the money is gone.

At Solutio, the developer is only paid after delivering the product. It is a trustless system in which users can choose to pay, if they're satisfied. But if they don't they are punished. Each user has a reputationand his pledges only count, once he has proven to be trustworthy. Act in bad-faith, and your account will deviates from the average, and will have less, and less, pledging power.

REPUTATION SYSTEM FOR TRUST & SAFETY

Solutio keeps track of user's past pledges and uses that data to calculate a reputation score to predict future payouts.

So if a user with a reputation of 70% pledges U$ 1000, only U$ 700 will be displayed as expected payout.

​

This gives developers better insight into their potential payouts and helps keep bad actors at bay. You have to earn your reputation.
